Big Brother 10 is here and it's goooood!  We loved the first episode and recorded the podcast during the commercials.  So, it's a quicky and done on the fly.  We'll give proper shout outs to our podcasting and blog buddies next time!

Looks like we're going to have a promising summer of Big Brother fun! We're looking forward to it.

They're here!  Big Brother 10 is awwwwwn (to quote Monica, BB2).  First impressions are that this is a very age-diverse group. considering Zach was a senior HG at 30, these guys are all near the 30 mark more than the 20 range. not that there's anything wrong with that....

Nobody knows each other. Nobody is an ex or a long lost sibling or has a twin hiding behind the storage room. No Chill Town bubbas or estranged family members. Ahhhhhh!!!!  back to the good ole days of Big Brother.  Let's hope for a great summer with no America Player gimmicks or producer finger-breaking or strong-arming influence to carry out a pre-designed storyline.

Let's hope for our favorite podcasts to come back (i.e. big brutha luva, sistah speak to name two!)

And last but not least, let's hope that the brutha luvas send emails or comments to babe and mimi so we can read them on our show!

Word has it over at Dumbscreen that the new HGs will be announced on The Early Show on Tuesday morning, July 8! Woo Hoo! The tour of the BB10 house will on Friday. Here we gooooooo......!

Rumor has it that cbs is announcing the BB10 Houseguests on July 9.  We will be closely looking at these guys.  If there's even a whiff of the crap they put up for BB9, I'm afraid for the future of big brutha luva.

I had to come back to add... Fantasia's performance on Idol was OUT OF CONTROL! Fantastic! The only ounce of blood pumping thru veins on that stage ALL season. Thank you Fantasia.

Wow!  We LOVED the Survivor Fans vs. Favs Finale!  This may have been one of the, if not THE, best season of Survivor yet! The finale was fantastic. What up w/ Parvati and Natalie..????  And who in the heck dressed beautiful Ozzy in that red giant v-neck tshirt??  He looked way better on the island!  Go Cirie. We were hoping she'd hook up some of that extra ca$h. James won it and that's good for us cuz he is one rock solid hink o'hunk o'man!  (Geez, I sound like a horn dog!);-)

Can't wait to record our next episode to talk about this finale and also BB Australia. There have been a couple evictions in the last week to catch up on.

Babe and Mimi have popped in for a post-BB9 episode. We didn't want to talk trash about other folks' show so we waited until it was over...  It's not too bad. BB"9", aka Scabs, seems to be the most forgettable BB yet
 anyways.  Mimi has been turned on to Big Brother Australia, which started last week of April, and it's fantastic!  It has the fun and enthusiasm we used to see from our beloved Big Brother....before BBUSA got mean and ugly.

Sorry, we talk about a poop story. I thought, later, after uploading the episode, that I shoulda cut it out but oh well. It was traumatic for all and memorable.

I don't know where Babe and Mimi are going with the podcast for the next couple months but maybe we'll just come on and talk about our favorite shows (there's lots coming up to yap about). I'd like to have a BBAU segment cuz its a great show.

Hey guys! Oh m'gosh, have we become one of the podcasts that I can't stand...when they stop recording and just never bother to update their site and let me, I mean, folks, know where they went, whuzzup, are they coming back etc etc etc.??

Well, this is what happened.... we hate BB9.  No, hate is strong word and one we don't "prefer" to use.  We watched the very first episode, peeked once or twice during American Idol commercials and never went back.  I was torn whether to put a podcast episode out and diss the show and give our opinions and what not but decided not to cuz I know alot of you guys are watching it and enjoying it. We don't want to tinkle on anybody's party.

There were a few problems with the winter edition of BB9. One of the big ones is timing. Summer is perfect to kick back and spend inordinate amounts of time following our houseguests via boards, live feeds, 3 shows/week, podcasts, HouseCalls, and recently BBAD. Its just a very different time of year during the school year. Kids in school, I'm in school and getting my ass kicked by projects etc etc.  I'm singing to the choir cuz you guys know what I mean.  Besides all that, its actually a really good tv season, LOST, AI, Survivor. I'm digging on Dexter now thats its on network tv. Too much good tv to catch yet still too much homework to crank out!

The other issue with BB9 is the....lap dance thing we saw on video (thanks DumbScreen!). It pushed us over that edge where you don't come back.

You know what I'm feeling right now...?  I'm feeling a podcast episode coming on!  :-) 
The more I flap my trap the more I miss you guys.

are back and ready to talk about this supposed season of "Big Brother". What in world have they done to us this time..?

Good thing there's other stuff to talk about, Survivor, American Idol, Lost, porn, (huh?). 

Well, we missed all of our listeners and hope that a few of ya's are around to throw us some feedback and say hi. We all may have to suffer through this "season" of "Big Brother" but maybe we can meet here and talk about other stuff too.

Well now, these writers are on strike and the word on the street is that CBS is scrambling to assemble a January version of Big Brother.  Now, is this a *real* BB or one of those *special* seasons kinda like Family Edition Amazing Race or those other (group) Biggest Loser shows they put on?  Even though BB never came soon enough for me, (I’ve complained that July was too late in the summer to start), but January??

 
I’ll have a talk w/ Babe about putting out a January edition of BB9 Big Brutha Luva. We will likely still bring BB9 Big Brutha Luva if, it does indeed launch.  We may not though if it’s something completely embarrassing like Celebrity BB or if something about the production smells stinky.  We miss you guys and look forward to shaking it all up again.  Stay tuned…      -mimi

How can it all be over?? All the hate, all the luvin', all the tears and flamin' on the boards?  What a summer it was. Will not soon be forgotten that's for sure.

This is our final episode and we really had a good time doing it. Again, we can't thank all you Luvas out there. we liked the finale and were surprised by some of those jury votes. Eric got off easy as "A"P. (Think he's got some 'splainin' to do...? Trust is the basis of all (good) relationships...) 

Dick wasn't quite sure what to think about "A"P. he chuckled about it but after it absorbs he may feel differently. Ah well, he can ponder it all on his way to the bank and in 1st class on his way to Europe.

Our preseason predictions...were terrible!  However, Babe's premonition of America's Player came true and Mimi had singled out Danielle as one to watch out for. Pretty laughable who we thought the hook ups were going to be (Nick and Amber????)

We've referred all season to "The Board". So, as promised, here it is.  It was very helpful in our discussions and breakdowns of what had happened in the Big Brother house. Who woulda thunk Dick and Danielle would've been sitting on the top of that heap??

I had printed a whole bunch of sheets of pix of the group of HGs and today I cut the very last picture I had for Danielle. Good thing she didn't win HOH this week!

Also in the pic is The Smoke Monster, aka "art". If you look at it long enough, your past will be revealed and unfolded before you (a la LOST). hehe

Danielle always pulls it off when the Donatos need that extra boost to carry on. Off to the Final 3 with them!

A little chat about Alice in Wonderland and hookin' up a hookah. The Zach Attack, bye Jameka, and veggie loaf. Did Mimi actually say she want to see what Eric, I mean, the Philadelphia Lawyer, can do in an All Stars?? We didn't get an answer about the Blue Ball Controversy...(figures). Babe draws parallels between Firefly and BB.

Is it a rumor that Jen found an America's Player envelope in the Diary Room and Big Brother has made a deal with her to keep it quiet...?  Our listeners point out that we don't give enough airtime to the other HGs that talk gross trash, as Dick isn't the only one.  Point taken.

Ever see the The Battle at Kruger on youtube?  Looks like the Big Brother herd of water buffalo did indeed come back for their young and save it from the hungry pride of lions.  We recorded this episode before Kail was evicted and wow are we surprised Eric is still in the house.  What a week this one'll be!

Will there be any repercussions against Amber for her, um, "opinions"? Kail, Jen and Danielle are three tough cookies, hanging upside down for almost 2 hours for the HOH.  The subsequent, intense POV should have been an HOH and made everybody sacrifice something to show how bad they wanted it.

Babe finds that her TV shame is back. The grrrls can't hold their tongues anymore about Dick's behavior but also give some props for some of his game play. As much as they liked him early on, they find his intense verbal assaults "Jerry Springer Show-ish". You’ll be surprised to find who they hold accountable for the demise of their beloved Big Brother and who they think is throwing it into The Stink. This is an intense discussion where they try to show both sides of the Dick fence and how it’s splintering the BB community.

Alot of action since the moment Mike walked out of the house last week (...which the girls barely even mention).  Jameka used the POV to save Jen, the guys all went ape-sh** on her, the entire house supported Dustin's decision to backdoor Nick but none will stand up that they knew.  Mohawk-enraged Nick is coming unscrewed.  The girls still don't know how to deal with Dick.  Would a dual POV be a cool idea?

Oh, and Nick, his eyes, his bod, his pink fingernails, his gigantasaurus shoulders, and....his hot tub ...it's not even a confession, more of a flippant off-the-cuff... comment. Fantastic stuff!

The girls give a rundown on what we've got by way of Houseguests, via a picture list and a very silly Early Show clip. Seems Kail and Dick rise to the top of interest.  Why is that?? The girls reminisce about BB1, Nicole and Janelle.  The girls love canadians, but of course, do not wish to play hockey against them.  Should Pirate Master 'mateys or some hot So You Think You Can Dancers be in the house instead?  Because.... it seems that the producers forgot to include sex appeal.

Hmmmm... Jameka won our pre-season poll as to who was going to win BB8, taking 14% of the vote. Mike was runner-up with 12%. Is this some support for Mimi's theory that Jameka and Mike are going to hook up in the house...? And go to the Final 2 together too no less? We'll see.

The girrrls are struggling through June with IQ-tapping television and wonder where the heck BB8 is, already!  It's speculated that you can, indeed, play BB and maintain character and integrity.  In anticipation of a "High School Bully" Twist, Mimi tells a scary story about the Revenge of the Flag Twirlers.  And, can we really still harbor residual pain and resentment from high school?!

Congrats to MortysTV who won our first poll as 57% of our listeners get their BB fix via MortysTV fan forums!  Our friends at Joker's were a close runner up.  Peace out.
